Amir Blachman is President and COO of Outpost Technologies, where he leads operations, finance, partnerships, and business development. He is responsible for scaling the company’s commercial and government business and building its long-term operating model for space logistics and in-space manufacturing.
Previously, Amir was the first employee and Chief Business Officer at Axiom Space, where he helped raise over $500 million and secure $2.3 billion in contracts. He led efforts behind multiple ISS missions—supporting 12 astronauts and over 50 payloads—and helped win NASA’s lunar and ISS spacesuit contracts. He also established partnerships with Mitsui & Co., Prada, and Boryung. Earlier, he founded and ran a venture fund focused on space tech, backing companies in launch, in-space services, and manufacturing—several of which reached IPO or acquisition. A former military non-commissioned officer and licensed pilot, Amir is known for bringing operational discipline and strategic clarity to organizations.

Julie has over 10 years of experience as an engineering leader at the highest levels of commercial aerospace. As the Vice President of Engineering at Outpost, Julie is leading the development of a novel reentry vehicle system that is defining the future of high-speed logistics & in-space manufacturing. Previously as a Chief Engineer for commercial satellite systems at Boeing, she led spacecraft development and large-scale system integration. While at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, she was a lead engineer and designer for flight electronics on multiple flagship programs, including the Europa Clipper Mission to Jupiter.
Her early career also included avionics development at SpaceX, contributing to the Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon capsule. Julie is known for aligning multidisciplinary teams under complex, high-stakes timelines. She brings the systems thinking, creativity, and executional rigor required to deliver reentry vehicles with ultra-high precision.

Andrés is known for making things run “smooth and fast,” adeptly navigating ambiguity to deliver transformative results. He excels at creating high-trust execution environments and thrives at the intersection of operational discipline and entrepreneurial agility. His background encompasses pivotal roles in driving cross-functional initiatives, corporate governance, venture financing, investor relations, and building and scaling operational infrastructures, ensuring they are tailored for maximum operational output.
Prior to Outpost, Andres served as the strategic and operational partner to the CEO at skyTran, a Series B transportation startup where he helped scale a 15-person R&D team into a >75-person product engineering-focused company distributed across continents. As counsel, Andres has advised over 45 startups and helped them secure more than 80 equity and debt financing deals, raising >$900 million in venture-backed funds throughout their lifecycle.
